CANNA Hydro Flores A&B (hard)
Hydro Flores is a professional fast-acting fertilizer, it contains all the essential elements that the plant needs during the flowering phase. Hydro Flores stimulates fruiting and gives the plant its characteristic flavour. It has been specially developed for run-to-waste or open hydroponic growing systems.
It can be assumed that tap water with an EC of ≥ 0.4 is hard. CANNA Hydro Flores (hard) has been specially developed for this.
Product information
Hydro Flores nutrition meets the changing needs of the plant once flowering has started. During the flowering phase, considerably less nitrogen is required, but the plant has an increased need for phosphorus and potassium, among other things.
Benefits of CANNA Hydro Flores
CANNA Hydro Flores stimulates fruiting and taste.
CANNA Hydro Flores contains the right amounts of phosphorus and potassium, and is rich in trace elements, which are present in a form that can be immediately absorbed, guaranteeing an exuberant bloom.
CANNA Hydro Flores is available in a hard water and soft water version.
Hard and soft water
The composition of the tap water is an important factor when growing in a hydro system. The water quality influences, among other things, the availability and supply of nutrients. For example, there are more nutrients dissolved in hard water compared to soft water (e.g. magnesium and calcium) and more acid is needed to adjust the pH. This in turn affects the availability of the other nutritional elements.
We have therefore adjusted the HYDRO feed line to the composition of the tap water. In the Netherlands we offer three variants. With these variants, the right amount of nutrients is supplied to the root system of the plant and as few nutrients as possible end up in the drainage water; healthy for the consumer and good for the environment.
The most commonly used variant is the CANNA HydroVega/Flores A&B (hard) for hard water. We also offer CANNA Hydro Vega/Flores A&B (Soft) for soft water and we have a special CANNA Rotterdam Special A&B for the Maas water in the Rijnmond region.
It can be assumed that tap water with an EC of 0.4 is hard water.
Why an A & B diet?
CANNA Hydro Flores consists of two parts, part A and part B. We separate these parts for a reason. Because when some of the elements in parts A and B are put together, they may clump together. The plant cannot absorb this. That is why you must first add the A component and then the B component to the feed water.
Instructions
Shake the bottle well before use.
A ready-to-use CANNA Hydro Flores A&B nutrient solution is made by diluting the A&B concentrates in equal parts with tap water.
First add CANNA Hydro Flores A to the nutrient tank.
Stir well and then add CANNA Hydro Flores B.
Fill the feed vessel with tap water.
CANNA Hydro Flores A&B should be added to the nutrient vessel in a ratio of 1:250 (40 ml A and 40 ml B per 10 litres).
Stir well again and let the solution stand for a few hours.
The EC value of CANNA Hydro Flores A&B dissolved in the tap water is then between 1.8 - 2.7 mS (= EC value of the concentrate + EC value of the tap water).
Recommended pH value: 5.2-6.2.
In case of intensive cultivation, provide the plants with this food 1-3 times a day and ensure that there is a drainage of between 10% and 20% and/or rinse with tap water every 1-2 weeks. In general, this means 4-6 liters of food per m² per day (assuming a densely grown meter).
Only administer tap water to the plants for the last week. This results in a cleaner end product. Change food regularly.
Switching from CANNA Hydro Vega A&B fertilizer to CANNA Hydro Flores A&B fertilizer when flowering begins.
Because the buffering effect and the EC value of the tap water differ greatly from place to place, it is possible that the above guidelines are not met. Therefore, always check the pH and EC value. The pH value can be increased with CANNA pH Plus and decreased with CANNA pH Min growth or CANNA pH Min bloom.
Other instructions
CANNA has developed another fertilizer for the growth phase of the plant, Hydro Vega.
Store frost-free, closed and dark (UV light breaks down the chelates present in the food).
Keep out of reach of children.
