CANNA Hydro Vega is a professional fast acting fertilizer for the growth phase of the plant, specially developed for growing in inert run-to-waste systems. Hydro Vega makes your plant stronger and healthier and is an ideal preparation for the flowering phase.
It can be assumed that tap water with an EC of ≥ 0.4 is hard. CANNA Hydro Vega Hard has been specially developed for this.
Product information
CANNA Hydro Vega is a professional fast-acting fertilizer, it contains all the essential elements that the plant needs during the growth phase. Hydro Vega stimulates strong plants with large vital shoots and lush root development. It has been specially developed for run-to-waste or open hydroponic growing systems.
Benefits of CANNA Hydro Vegan
CANNA Hydro Vega ensures a strong plant with large, vital shoots and lush root development. This is the basis for a healthy, strong plant, ready for vigorous flowering.
CANNA Hydro Vega can be applied to all types of inert substrates such as rock wool.
Complete absorption of nutrients and water is guaranteed from the start of cultivation, because CANNA Hydro Vega is rich in directly absorbable nitrogen compounds and trace elements.
CANNA Hydro Vega is available in a hard water and a soft water version
Hard and soft water
The composition of the tap water is an important factor when growing in a hydro system. The water quality influences, among other things, the availability and supply of nutrients. For example, there are more nutrients dissolved in hard water compared to soft water (e.g. magnesium and calcium) and more acid is needed to adjust the pH. This in turn affects the availability of the other nutritional elements.
We have therefore adjusted the HYDRO feed line to the composition of the tap water. In the Netherlands we offer three variants. With these variants, the right amount of nutrients is supplied to the root system of the plant and as few nutrients as possible end up in the drainage water; healthy for the consumer and good for the environment.
The most commonly used variant is the CANNA Hydro Vega/Flores A&B (hard) for hard water. We also offer CANNA Hydro Vega/Flores A&B (Soft) for soft water and we have a special CANNA Rotterdam Special A&B for the Maas water in the Rijnmond region.
It can be assumed that tap water with an EC of 0.4 is hard water.
Why an A & B diet?
CANNA Hydro Vega consists of two parts, part A and part B. We separate these parts for a reason. Because when some of the elements in parts A and B are put together, they may clump together. The plant cannot absorb this. That is why you must first add the A component and then the B component to the feed water.
Instructions
Shake the bottle well before use.
A ready-to-use CANNA Hydro Vega A&B nutrient solution is made by diluting the A&B concentrates in equal parts with tap water.
Fill the nutrient tank with tap water.
First add CANNA Vega A to the nutrient tank.
Stir well and then add CANNA Hydro Vega B.
The dosage for seeds and cuttings: 10 ml CANNA Hydro Vega A&B on 10 liters of tap water;
Add CANNA Hydro Vega A and CANNA Hydro Vega B, maximum 40 ml A and 40 ml B to 10 liters of tap water (1:250).
Stir well and let the nutrient solution stand for a few hours.
Recommended pH value: 5.2 – 6.2.
Recommended EC value: 1.8 – 2.7 mS/cm2. (= EC value of the food + the EC value of the tap water).
To be used during the growing period (18 hours of lighting and the first 1-3 weeks of flowering 12 hours of lighting).
Change food regularly.
Switching from CANNA Hydro Vega A&B fertilizer to CANNA Hydro Flores A&B fertilizer when flowering begins.
Because the buffering effect and the EC value of the tap water differ greatly from place to place, it is possible that the above guidelines are not met. Therefore, always check the pH and EC value. The pH value can be increased with CANNA pH Plus and decreased with CANNA pH Min growth or CANNA pH Min bloom.
Other instructions
CANNA has developed another fertilizer, Hydro Flores, for the flowering phase of the plant.
Store frost-free, closed and dark (UV light breaks down the chelates present in the food).
Keep out of reach of children.
